Hudson, Ohio

This project is an urban design proposal for an historic community in Northeast Ohio that is rich in architectural history and fabric.  The project integrates the existing national register Main Street structures and the new mixed-use development located next to it.  This is partially achieved by respecting and extending the existing traditional street grid.  The development includes the placement of a new library as the terminus to a new boulevard, which becomes the focus for the development.  The project includes the design and specification of all site improvements including paving and site furnishings, as well as integration with the existing historic structure.
